I want to see the reading requirements in courses for which I have no enrollment keys. How can I get into the course readings without the enrollment Keys?

Courses with enrollment keys are closed to the instructor(s) assigned to the course and the students enrolled in the course. If you don’t have the enrollment key to a course you can’t get in. This is to ensure that our online course environments meet FIRPE and general privacy guidelines.

I am an adjunct professor and would like to use Moodle with my class on Environmental Economics. Is there a tutorial for faculty or someone I could talk to? I have used Blackboard and Vista at other schools. Thanks. Cathy

Hi Cathy – send an email to We plan to build more faculty tutorial into our Moodle installation, but for now we are doing a lot of one-on-one consultations along with various F2F workshops. We will have a number of Moodle workshops the week before classes start, so you can look for that announcement as well.

I signed up for an online course to start in January. There is no tab on my moodle account saying “My courses”. Is that because the course can not be accessed yet? Is it too early to access courses that start in January? Please let me know!
