Instructional Design Services

The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center provides a range of instructional design services for faculty and programs on campus, ranging from consultations with individual faculty to working with various campus units on overall program development. Available services include:
- Course design planning: student learning outcomes, course module production, learning activities, authentic assessment, gradebook configuration, student activity reporting, e-portfolio use, course blogs & wikis, collaborative learning activities, team-based learning, problem-based learning
- Short-format training workshops on the use of the learning management system, the electronic portfolio application, and other learning applications
- Facilitation of faculty learning communities
- Course set-up and development
- Faculty brown-bag discussions of pedagogy and assessment
- Development of just-in-time, web-based training materials
Instructional design services are available to others on a contract basis. Services are charged on an hourly basis, $40 / hour.
